Qualifications

  • Experience in SaaS, TaaS, or digital marketplace solutions.

  • Conduct research on market trends, customer needs, and competitors in the logistics industry.
  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities in SaaS and marketplace solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations and demos.

Role Overview

We are seeking a strategic and experienced Senior Business Development Specialist to support the growth and expansion of Madar’s commercial initiatives across the logistics and technology sectors. This role focuses on identifying new and high‑value business opportunities, expanding our customer base, and developing strategic partnerships that contribute to long‑term revenue goals.

The specialist will analyze industry trends, assess market potential, and help shape the company’s business development strategy. Responsibilities include managing and developing relationships with prospective clients, partners, and industry stakeholders, as well as representing Madar in market interactions to ensure our digital logistics solutions align with evolving customer and industry needs.

Success in this role requires strong analytical and commercial capabilities, solid communication and negotiation skills, and effective collaboration with internal teams to support the seamless execution of business initiatives and alignment with Madar’s broader strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct research on market trends, customer needs, and competitors in the logistics and digital solutions industry.
  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities in SaaS, and marketplace solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations, demos, and solution overviews.
  • Lead the development of proposals, RFP responses, and commercial offers.
  • Provide insights to support commercial strategy and product positioning.
  • Build and qualify a strong sales pipeline through outreach, networking, and industry events.
  • Collaborate with marketing to execute lead‑generation campaigns.
  • Track BD activity performance using CRM systems.
  • Engage potential clients, identify operational pain points, and align them with Madar’s solutions.
  • Maintain relationships with strategic clients and partners.
  • Ensure proposals clearly communicate the value of Madar’s SaaS.
  • Support commercial pricing and pre‑negotiation preparation.
  • Prepare commercial terms, scope descriptions, and business inputs for client contracts.
  • Review contract terms related to pricing, SLAs, scope, renewal, and business impact.
  • Coordinate closely with the Legal team to finalize contract language.
  • Lead and support commercial negotiations with clients to reach mutually beneficial terms.
  • Ensure all contracts meet internal compliance and approval workflows.
  • Identify and build partnerships that expand market reach or enhance Madar’s product portfolio.
  • Support discussions with integration and technology partners.
  • Provide weekly and monthly reports on BD performance, pipeline, and market insights.
  • Support the development of BD strategies and annual commercial plans.
Qualification
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in business development, sales, or commercial strategy, preferably in logistics, SaaS, or digital solutions.
  • Experience in SaaS, TaaS, or digital marketplace solutions.
