Job Summary

The Business Development Executive, under the general guidance and supervision of the Director of Sales & Marketing / Director of Sales, and within established hotel policies and procedures, is responsible for overseeing and executing all sales activities within the assigned area of responsibility. The role focuses on proactively driving business development, strengthening client relationships, and supporting the hotel’s overall revenue and commercial objectives through effective client engagement and collaboration.

Responsibilities
  • Execute sales action plans for assigned market segments in line with the hotel’s commercial objectives.
  • Proactively conduct daily sales calls, client meetings, and market visits to generate and convert business opportunities.
  • Coordinate and host site inspections and familiarization visits for prospective and existing clients.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with corporate and government partners through regular engagement and follow-up.
  • Participate actively in weekly Sales & Marketing meetings, contributing market insights, client feedback, and revenue opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with Revenue Management, Marketing, Events, and Operations teams to ensure seamless execution and client satisfaction.
  • Apply effective negotiation skills to optimize revenue while maintaining rate integrity and brand positioning.
  • Ensure timely follow-ups, accurate documentation, and professional handling of all client communications.
  • Represent the hotel with the highest standards of professionalism, service excellence, and brand alignment.
