Job Summary
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of international logistics, proven sales expertise, and the ability to build and maintain long‑term client relationships across air, sea, and land freight services.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in freight forwarding (Air, Sea, and Land).
- Manage and grow relationships with existing clients, ensuring high customer satisfaction and retention.
- Prepare and deliver customized sales presentations, proposals, and quotations.
- Achieve assigned revenue and profit targets through effective sales strategies.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new opportunities.
- Collaborate with the operations and customer service teams to ensure smooth execution of shipments.
- Participate in trade shows, industry events, and networking opportunities to enhance market presence.
- Maintain an accurate and updated sales pipeline using CRM tools.
Key Skills and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of sales/business development experience in freight forwarding
- Strong understanding of international shipping, INCOTERMS, and customs procedures.
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong market intelligence and customer relationship management skills.
- Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented, and able to work independently.
- Valid driving license and willingness to travel as required.
