Key Duties :

• Operate a bus safely along designated routes, adhering to schedules.
• Collect fares, issue tickets, and check passes.
• Ensure the safety and comfort of passengers, including assisting disabled passengers.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Communicate effectively with passengers, answering queries and making announcements.
• Handle difficult situations or anti-social behaviour professionally.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with passenger endorsement (and airbrake endorsement if applicable).
• Clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
• Excellent knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Patience and ability to handle diverse passenger situations.
• Physical ability to operate a large vehicle for extended periods.
