Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

As a Budgeting & Reporting Manager, you will be responsible for leading the company’s budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting activities to support operational and strategic decision-making. The role requires strong experience in manufacturing/production environments—not service sectors—covering cost accounting, production finance, and performance monitoring.

You will collaborate closely with production, supply chain, procurement, and senior management to ensure financial accuracy and operational effectiveness.

Key Accountabilities
  • Lead preparation and consolidation of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and financial plans.
  • Develop financial models linked to production volumes, material usage, and manufacturing costs.
  • Work with plant and production managers to review and validate operational budgets.
  • Prepare rolling forecasts reflecting changes in demand, capacity, and raw material pricing.
  • Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports covering P&L, balance sheet, COGS, and cash flow.
  • Prepare KPI dashboards for production performance (OEE, yield, scrap rates, cost per unit, etc.).
  • Analyze variances between budget, forecast, and actual results, highlighting root causes.
  • Provide financial insights for decision-making by senior leadership.
  • Oversee standard costing, BOM costing, cost center allocations, and manufacturing cost structures.
  • Ensure accurate inventory valuation for raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
  • Monitor production variances, downtime costs, and plant-level financial performance.
  • Support cost-reduction, efficiency, and optimization initiatives across manufacturing operations.
  • Ensure financial processes comply with internal controls, IFRS, and audit requirements.
  • Strengthen controls over production reporting, inventory movements, and cost accounting.
  • Collaborate with IT and ERP teams to enhance financial modules within SAP/Oracle/other systems.
  • Act as a key financial partner to production, supply chain, and procurement departments.
  • Support CapEx planning, investment proposals, and ROI analysis.
  • Provide scenarios and financial modeling to support strategic initiatives and plant expansion opportunities.
  • Participate in operational reviews and drive continuous improvement culture.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications preferred: CMA, CPA, ACCA.
  • 10 years of experience in budgeting, reporting, or cost accounting.
  • Mandatory: experience in the manufacturing/production sector (chemicals, industrial, FMCG, construction materials, plastics, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing finance, standard costing, BOMs, and inventory valuation.
  • Proficient in financial modeling, variance analysis, and management reporting.
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.).
  • Fluent in English & Arabic.
  • Strong analytical skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
