Overview

Our client, a prominent food manufacturing company, is in search of an experienced Boiler Technician to join their team in Jeddah. The Boiler Technician will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of boilers and related equipment to ensure efficient and reliable steam generation for the production processes.

Responsibilities
  • Monitoring and performing utilities operation and maintenance activities including steam boilers LP/HP, demineralization plant, pumps, compressors, HVAC, water treatment equipment and other support systems.
  • Reporting to supervisor for any operation abnormalities.
  • Reporting and recording parameters on log sheets.
  • Reporting daily completed jobs and findings during routine inspections.
  • Withdrawing materials from spare parts store as required.
  • Ensuring proper handover to the next shift.
  • Performing corrective and preventive maintenance activities.
  • Reporting and recording daily water, diesel and chemical consumption.
  • Proposing ideas for system modification and improvement to control operation and maintenance costs (Kaizen).
  • Participating in weekly meetings with the manager and the team.
  • Safety awareness and BOS & SIR contribution.
  • Closing actions needed for Safety and 5S Audit findings.
  • Receiving diesel from the tanker and unloading to the diesel tank.
  • Preparing chemicals for boiler as per required dosage and chemicals.
Qualifications
  • Diploma or certification in Boiler Operation or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Boiler Technician in a food manufacturing setting.
  • Proficient in the operation, maintenance, and repair of boiler systems.
  • Strong commitment to safety protocols and regulations.
