Our client is a global logistics and supply chain leader seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to drive new client acquisition and revenue growth. This role is pivotal in expanding market presence across key verticals including retail, electronics, FMCG, and industrial sectors.

Responsibilities
  • Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify and target potential clients through market research, networking, and cold outreach. Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads.
  • Client Engagement & Relationship Building: Initiate contact with prospective clients to understand their logistics needs. Deliver tailored presentations and proposals that address client requirements.
  • Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base. Collaborate with internal teams (operations, pricing, solutions) to craft competitive offerings.
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to uncover new opportunities. Share insights with senior management to inform strategic decisions.
  • Reporting & CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system. Prepare regular reports on performance, pipeline status, and forecasts.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Experience in B2B sales or business development, ideally within logistics or freight forwarding.
  • Proven track record of acquiring new clients and meeting sales targets.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
