Job Description
Key Responsibilities – Bartender
  1. Drink Preparation & Service
    • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.
    • Ensure consistent quality, presentation, and portion control of all drinks.
    • Suggest drinks to guests based on their preferences and promote signature cocktails.
  2. Guest Interaction & Service Excellence
    • Provide friendly, attentive, and professional service to all guests.
    • Maintain a welcoming atmosphere at the bar and ensure guest satisfaction.
    • Handle guest complaints or special requests politely and efficiently.
  3. Bar Operations & Cleanliness
    • Set up and close the bar according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
    • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of bar counters, equipment, and utensils.
    • Ensure proper stock rotation and storage of all beverages and garnishes.
  4. Inventory & Cash Handling
    • Monitor and control inventory of beverages, glassware, and bar supplies.
    • Record sales accurately and handle cash, credit cards, or room charges responsibly.
    • Report shortages, breakages, or discrepancies to management.
  5. Compliance & Safety
    • Adhere to local alcohol laws and company safety regulations.
    • Check guest IDs to verify legal drinking age when necessary.
    • Follow all hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards.
  6. Teamwork & Communication
    • Coordinate with waitstaff and kitchen for smooth service.
    • Attend daily briefings and participate in staff training sessions.
    • Support colleagues during peak hours to maintain efficiency.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a bartender, with prior experience in a high-end beach club or a luxury hospitality environment.
  • Deep knowledge of the restaurant’s specialized beverage menu, including a detailed understanding of ingredients, preparation methods, or drink pairings.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and assist guests with confidence and professionalism.
  • Ability to memorize and explain menu items in detail, providing guests with an educational and enriching dining experience.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong customer service skills and a passion for delivering high‑quality experience
