Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the setup and execution of all banquet events, including weddings, meetings, conferences, and private functions.
- Ensure banquet rooms are properly set according to event function sheets and guest requirements.
- Lead and support the banquet service team to deliver exceptional service.
- Maintain constant communication with the kitchen, event planners, and other departments to ensure seamless event execution.
- Monitor service quality during events and resolve any guest concerns or issues promptly.
- Oversee the breakdown and clean-up of event spaces, ensuring all equipment is properly stored and spaces are reset as needed.
- Train, schedule, and guide banquet staff to maintain service standards and operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Assist in inventory control, stock ordering, and equipment maintenance.
- Report any maintenance or equipment issues to the appropriate department.
Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or related field is preferred.
- 2–3 years of experience in banquet operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
