Job description
Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the setup and execution of all banquet events, including weddings, meetings, conferences, and private functions.
  • Ensure banquet rooms are properly set according to event function sheets and guest requirements.
  • Lead and support the banquet service team to deliver exceptional service.
  • Maintain constant communication with the kitchen, event planners, and other departments to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Monitor service quality during events and resolve any guest concerns or issues promptly.
  • Oversee the breakdown and clean-up of event spaces, ensuring all equipment is properly stored and spaces are reset as needed.
  • Train, schedule, and guide banquet staff to maintain service standards and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
  • Assist in inventory control, stock ordering, and equipment maintenance.
  • Report any maintenance or equipment issues to the appropriate department.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or related field is preferred.
  • 2–3 years of experience in banquet operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple events simultaneously under pressure.
