A leading hotel chain in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Banquet Supervisor to oversee the setup and execution of various events including weddings and conferences. The ideal candidate will have 2–3 years of experience in banquet operations and strong leadership skills. This role demands excellent communication and organizational abilities with a flexible work schedule to accommodate events.
Supervise and coordinate the setup and execution of all banquet events, including weddings, meetings, conferences, and private functions.
Ensure banquet rooms are properly set according to event function sheets and guest requirements.
Lead and support the banquet service team to deliver exceptional service.
Maintain constant communication with the kitchen, event planners, and other departments to ensure seamless event execution.
Monitor service quality during events and resolve any guest concerns or issues promptly.
Oversee the breakdown and clean-up of event spaces, ensuring all equipment is properly stored and spaces are reset as needed.
Train, schedule, and guide banquet staff to maintain service standards and operational efficiency.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
Assist in inventory control, stock ordering, and equipment maintenance.
Report any maintenance or equipment issues to the appropriate department.
