Job Description

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer – Back Office to join our client’s team, he will be responsible for designing and selecting systems equipment based on client requirements using AutoCAD and selection tools. The role involves preparing technical offers, reviewing BOQs and drawings, and providing engineering support before the sales stage. The engineer will handle technical clarifications with consultants and contractors, as well as coordinate with suppliers to ensure accurate and efficient solutions. The position requires strong knowledge of HVAC and MEP systems, with the ability to translate client needs into optimal technical designs.

Responsibilities

• Review project BOQs, drawings, and specifications to select suitable products (humidifiers, dehumidifiers, Solar Water Heaters, and related equipment).
• Design and size systems using AutoCAD and product selection software to meet client technical inputs (capacity, space, temperature, etc.).
• Prepare detailed quotations and technical submittals in coordination with the sales team.
• Respond to consultant and contractor technical clarifications and provide accurate engineering support.
• Maintain updated knowledge of product ranges and technical specifications.
• Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers for technical and commercial support.
• Support internal teams (sales and project managers) with design data, selection tools, and documentation.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience: 5–7 years in HVAC and / or MEP design or technical support.
• Skills: AutoCAD, Product Selection Tools, preferably Revit.
• Languages: Fluent in English (written and spoken), Arabic is a plus.
• Strong skills in reading drawings, performing product selection, and preparing technical documentation.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Good communication skills to interact with consultants, contractors, and internal teams.
