Job Description:

Comply with all Aviation, Safety, Quality and Export Control Regulations and Procedures.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all Airbus Helicopters Management Systems, Policies and Regulations.
• Work as part of a team and satisfactorily perform both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of the helicopter fleet within a customer environment.
• Undertake aircraft maintenance, repair and inspection tasks, quality checks and the completion of documentation in accordance with Company and Customer procedures.
• Check tools/GSE for condition and expiry date before starting any maintenance activity and ensure their correct use.
• Check components and parts for damages, leaks, etc., and verify that the applicable documentation is correct.
• Perform electrical assembly, integration and modification; conduct system repairs, first‑level quality inspection and functional tests of aircraft and components.
• Analyze performance and isolate malfunctions of integrated avionic instrument and flight control systems.
• Conduct checkouts of avionic instruments and flight control systems and components (including Airbus Helicopters).
• Inspect avionic instrument and flight control systems.
• Ensure that all work performed is recorded on the appropriate paperwork and signed for on a progressive basis.
• Ensure the correct use and control of aircraft parts and materials.
• Verify aircraft status regarding scheduled tasks and deferred items is updated; confirm that the aircraft condition is serviceable and sign the Release to Service of the aircraft.
• Perform duties as assigned by the Site Manager, ensuring that all work is completed in a timely fashion and meets the delivery quality requirements of Airbus.

Training & Supervision

• Evaluate performance of assigned customer’s personnel.
• Conduct on‑the‑job training activity.
• Train personnel on the use of maintenance manuals.
• Train personnel in all safety directives and FOD procedures.
• Supervise and train junior aircraft technicians.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
