Responsibilities

• Order, receive, inspect, stow, preserve, package, ship, and issue materials.
• Unload incoming inventory and stock inventory.
• Prepare repair shipments and provide customer service.
• Maintain required forms, records, reports, and files.
• Load and unload material using handling equipment.
• Monitor aircraft components schedule for timely replacements.
• Ensure efficient and safe operations in parts supply.
• Analyze inventory levels and determine reorder levels.
• Inspect goods upon delivery and perform quality control.
• Select materials for packaging based on durability.
• Train customer personnel in supply management.
• Assist in scheduling training events and administrative duties.

Job description

Performs logistical support functions in support of CH47 MAT operations. Ensures equipment operational readiness rates are met by means of ordering, accounting, stocking, issuing, transferring, and receipt of spares and consumable parts and equipment assigned by the customer. Maintains technical supply and warehouse inventories and performs automated parts operations.

Responsibilities

• Order, receive, inspect, stow, preserve, package, ship, and issue materials/cargo.
• Unload incoming inventory; stock inventory onto shelf locations; pickup inventory.
• Prepare repair shipments to OEM; assembles kits; provide customer service at service window/desk, for issues/returns.
• Prepare and maintain required forms, records, correspondence, reports, and files; ensure proper documentation for accuracy; meet on-time metrics.
• Load and unload material within a warehouse or storage facility; utilizes hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, or other handling equipment to move material to and from aircraft and within the storage facility.
• Monitor aircraft time-change components schedule to ensure replacement components are ordered in a timely manner to meet the customer flying hour and maintenance requirements.
• Monitor the repairable exchange program and ensure all necessary documentation is complete.
• Ensure that all related parts supply operations are conducted in a safe and efficient manner.
• Analyze inventory levels, production speed, and item demand to determine reorder levels to ensure stock availability and minimize inventory costs.
• Inspects goods upon delivery to verify delivered goods match order specifications; perform quality control; report immediately to supervisor any delivery inconsistencies or delays and quarantine parts that fail inspection.
• Analyze and select materials for packaging based on durability and cost effectiveness to include HAZMAT and oversized/overweight items.
• Train potential customer personnel to develop and maintain an effective supply/parts management regime.
• Be prepared to assist in scheduling of training events; obtain instructional materials; perform administrative duties related to training development.
• All other duties as assigned. Other tasks as directed by the Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of broad-based experience in the fields of supply, distribution, warehousing, and packaging. Army Supply Chain certification or civilian equivalent preferred.
• Possess a valid state or Government issued driver’s license.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• High School Graduate or equivalent.
