Industrial Automation Sales Manager

The primary objective of this role is to drive order inflow from Integrated Automation Projects that incorporate digitalization as a value-add, in order to achieve the targeted revenue within the KSA market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive sales of integrated solutions that combine both hardware and software components to meet defined revenue and sales targets.
  • Lead Sales & Business Development efforts for Industrial Automation technologies including VSDs, RTUs, PLCs, and SCADA systems across Water & Wastewater (WWW), Infrastructure, Utilities, and MMM sectors.
  • Provide accurate forecasting and delivery of annual, quarterly, and monthly revenue streams.
  • Achieve high performance in Order Intake, Sales, Customer Satisfaction, Profitability, and Market Coverage.
  • Collaborate with segment leaders across the cluster to ensure strong market positioning.
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with strategic clients and customers.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of project sales opportunities.
  • Review and prioritize incoming inquiries, coordinating with the proposal team to deliver techno-commercial offers aligned with customer expectations.
  • Conduct regular customer meetings to strengthen relationships and influence decision-making.
  • Negotiate and finalize Terms & Conditions with customers to ensure contract compliance.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of project pipelines, customer visits, and contacts using the bFO tool (Salesforce).
  • Comply with all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes.
Qualifications & Competencies
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, with a specialization in Electronics, Instrumentation & Control.
  • 10–15 years of proven sales experience in Industrial Automation Sales within the KSA market.
  • Strong technical acumen to clearly understand customer requirements and effectively advocate tailored solutions.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills for engaging with diverse stakeholders.
  • Solid understanding of commercial processes, including cost estimation, negotiation, and contract management.
  • Results-driven and self-motivated, with the ability to perform under pressure and consistently meet sales targets.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present confidently at senior customer levels.
  • Independent thinker with sound business judgment and a proactive, risk-aware approach to decision-making.
  • Collaborative team player—dynamic, passionate, and capable of driving alignment across teams and functions.
