Job description

Responsibilities

• Oversee and implement landscaping project
• Direct leadership for the installation crew
• Be the “on site” contact for clients
• Assist with Project Management
• Coordinate work site and crew
• Spray lawns, trees and shrubs using unrestricted fertilizers and insecticides
• Plant grass, flowers, trees and shrubs
• Prune shrubs and trees to shape and improve growth
• Respond to all reactive incidents within the specified service level agreements
• Remove debris from stairs and walk-ways, rakes leaf’s and mow lawns
• Water trees, shrubs and lawns and performs irrigation activities
• Operate large power lawn mowers, edger’s, hand tools and large vehicles associated with ground maintenance and landscaping activities
• Operate pick-up trucks, flat-rack trucks and dump trucks for hauling purposes and for trash and debris removal
• Perform minor maintenance and repair on equipment and tools as required
• Assist in the maintenance of parking lots and other surfaces, including asphalt repairs and minor masonry or plastering work as required
• Carry out, to the best of your ability, all tasks assigned by the supervisor or manager
• Always maintain a clean and tidy appearance. Uniform must be worn and should be clean and in a good state of repair
• Comply with all processes and procedures (Human Resources, HSEQ, Finance, Information Technology, Procurement, Operations) which include compliance with all applicable rules and regulations of the local labour law
