Job summary

Jurong International seeks an experienced mechanical design engineer to lead complex building infrastructure projects from concept to tender. You will coordinate across architectural, structural, electrical, and other disciplines to ensure compliance with international standards and Middle East regulations.

The ideal candidate brings 12 years of design experience, strong consultancy background, and proven leadership in HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and related systems within the Middle East.

Qualifications

• 12 years of relevant mechanical engineering design experience.
• Strong consultancy experience delivering medium to large-scale building infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience leading mechanical design from concept through detailed design and tender stages.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, chilled water systems, ventilation, heating, plumbing and drainage, and fire protection systems.
• Experience preparing and reviewing design calculations, drawings, specifications, reports, and technical submissions.
• Strong multidisciplinary coordination with architectural, structural, electrical, and other engineering disciplines.
• Minimum 5 years of Middle East design experience, preferably with Saudi GCC projects.
• Strong knowledge of international standards, codes, and Middle East regulations.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, and relevant mechanical design calculation software.
• Strong technical leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Professional registration (chartership) would be advantageous.
