The project:

This project offers the chance to join a talented Mace team in delivering a major entertainment and luxury hospitality project, collaborating with renowned architects and global consultants. The project involves extensive infrastructure and built assets, delivered rapidly through a hands‑on Construction Management approach, ideal for those experienced in managing both main and sub‑contract packages.

You’ll be responsible for:
  • Provides commercial leadership for specific areas of work & direction to team members.
  • Hands‑on end to end commercial role, from onboarding contractors to site to leading contract administration, execution and commercial management.
  • Manages a commercial team to achieve commercial KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
  • Oversees cost control, valuations, and monthly post‑contract reporting.
  • Handles post‑contract management, package management, and commercial performance.
  • Evaluates claims, delays, and additional costs from contractors and subcontractors.
  • Directly interacts with clients, contractors and subcontractors to ensure delivery.
  • Supports net zero carbon transition and process improvements throughout project delivery.
  • Apply expertise in FIDIC contracts and payment mechanisms for post‑contract management.
You’ll need to have:
  • Degree in quantity surveying / commercial management (or equivalent).
  • Professional membership i.e. MRICS (or equivalent).
  • Major project experience is essential.
  • Main Contractor experience £250+.
  • Consultancy experience £1bn+.
