Overview
To be responsible for: Supervise and develop procurement intelligence from a range of data sources through business analysis, cost modelling, reporting and performance analysis to inform procurement decisions, support performance improvement and to enable stakeholders to meet business needs and expectation.
Key Accountabilities
- Measure and track performance within each spend category and define budgetary impact
- Monitor strategy implementation and contract compliance
- Provide analytical and strategic support for decision-making for the procurement of parts and services in the aircraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) facility.
- Manage and analyze high volumes of data, facilitating the launch of projects to support subsequent development of Long-Term Agreements.
- Establishes metrics used to track vendor performance and proactively monitors strategy implementation and contract compliance
- Manages Supplier compliance with government regulations and company standards and policies
- Monitors marketplace in staying abreast of new suppliers and service offerings
- Manage inventory price vs. price paid to capture savings on negotiated cost reductions
- Collect data and calculate internal and supplier KPIs by site, project, category, buyers, and suppliers
- Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis to guide decision-making
- Identify strategic procurement opportunities
- Takes advantage of available training and educational resources to improve functional skills and knowledge
- Manages Supplier compliance with government regulations and company standards and policies
- Ensure organizational compliance with inventory management policies, contractual requirements, or other regulations.
- Complies with flynas policies and processes, practices and systems, and maintain high standard of work and work ethic.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor - Master/MBA degree
- 8 - 10 years of experience In Aviation industry (Technical aircraft operations)
