We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Assistant Scaffolder to join our team in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting scaffold construction and dismantling processes, ensuring that all safety protocols and regulations are adhered to. This position is ideal for individuals who are eager to develop their skills in the heavy industry and metallurgy sector while contributing to large-scale projects. The Assistant Scaffolder will work closely with experienced scaffolders and other tradespeople, gaining valuable on-the-job training and experience.

Responsibilities
  1. Assist in the erection and dismantling of scaffolding structures according to project specifications and safety guidelines.
  2. Support the lead scaffolders in measuring and cutting materials as needed for scaffold assembly.
  3. Ensure that all scaffolding components are in good condition and report any defects to the supervisor immediately.
  4. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for all crew members.
  5. Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are clean, organized, and in proper working order.
  6. Help in the transportation of scaffolding materials to and from job sites as required.
  7. Participate in safety meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge in scaffolding practices.
  8. Assist with the installation of safety measures such as guardrails and toe boards on scaffolding.
  9. Collaborate with other construction team members to ensure project timelines are met efficiently.
  10. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Preferred Candidate
  1. Strong interest in the heavy industry and metallurgy, with a desire to learn and grow in the scaffolding field.
  2. Ability to work effectively as part of a team, demonstrating good communication and interpersonal skills.
  3. Physically fit and capable of performing manual labor, including lifting heavy materials and working at heights.

  6. Basic understanding of scaffolding principles and practices is an advantage but not mandatory.

  9. Possession of a valid safety certification or willingness to obtain one is preferred.
  10. Previous experience in construction or scaffolding roles is a plus but not required.
