The project:

This is an opportunity to work on one of the largest programmes in Saudi Arabia. This unique project consists of major mixed-use development including sports facilities, entertainment, and arts along with all associated infrastructure.

Mace is currently providing programme management and looking for high-calibre experienced people. We are hiring an ambitious and forward-thinking planning manager to join our established and growing team in Saudi.

The role needs to have the ability to play a key role in multidisciplinary teams and take a lead role in creating plans or analysing trends using numerical and statistical techniques.

To deputise for the senior planning manager in leading and supervising a team of professionals delivering planning/schedule management services. This is for a Saudi national only.

You’ll be responsible for:
  • Applying the specific planning/scheduling methods, techniques and tools.
  • Advising on complex requirements and communicating analysis and corrective measures effectively.
  • Managing the planning/scheduling delivery of medium/high projects/programmes.
  • Providing effective and timely advice to clients.
  • Understanding the data management.
  • Providing excellent attention to detail and ability to validate and check schedule management inputs, recording and reports produced, providing basic commentary and analysis.
You’ll need to have:
  • Holds a degree in construction or equivalent field experience, with professional certifications such as PMP, PMI-SP, or similar.
  • Leads the application of planning and scheduling methodologies, tools, and techniques across projects.
  • Demonstrates strong expertise in project controls, including planning/scheduling and earned value management (EVM).
