Apt Resources is excited to announce an opening for an Assistant Machine Operator in the Metal Fabrication department of our client, a leading manufacturing company. In this role, you will assist in the operation of various machinery used in metal fabrication processes, ensuring productions run smoothly and efficiently.

As an Assistant Machine Operator, you will be trained to understand various metalworking processes and the functioning of various machines, while also ensuring that safety protocols and production standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Assist in operating laser, punching, and bending machines under supervision.
• Help in checking measurements, cleaning metal sheets, and preparing materials for fabrication.
• Monitor machine operations and report performance issues.
• Receive products and raw materials from the warehouse and request additional supplies as needed.
• Support production goals by following schedules and ensuring timely outputs.
• Keep the workspace clean and adhere to safety and operational standards.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or vocational certificate in a mechanical or technical field.
• At least 1 year of experience supporting machine operations in a manufacturing environment.
• Basic understanding of technical drawings and fabrication processes.
• Physically fit, able to bend, reach, stoop, and lift medium to heavy objects frequently.
• Good English communication skills.
