Overview

The Assistant Food and Beverage Manager supports the Food and Beverage Manager in overseeing the daily operations of all F&B outlets, ensuring high standards of service, quality, and guest satisfaction. This role plays a key part in supervising staff, managing inventory, assisting with financial performance, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in managing restaurant, bar, banquet, and room service operations.
  • Supervise F&B staff, ensuring top-notch service and professional conduct.
  • Support inventory control, procurement, and vendor relations.
  • Monitor food and beverage quality standards and customer satisfaction.
  • Assist in scheduling, training, and performance evaluations of team members.
  • Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Enforce compliance with hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards.
  • Assist in budget planning and cost control measures to maximize profitability.
  • Collaborate on marketing and promotional activities for F&B outlets.
  • Prepare daily and monthly operational reports.
Requirements
  • Bachelors degree or diploma in Hotel Management, Hospitality, or related field.
  • 24 years of experience in food and beverage operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of health & safety and food hygiene regulations.
  • Proficiency in POS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a hotel, resort, or high-volume restaurant.
  • Familiarity with event management and banquet operations.
  • Certification in food safety or hospitality management is a plus.
