About the role:

Lead and manage large fleet repair, maintenance, and asset management team to ensure safe, compliant, and cost-effective operations. Drive continuous improvement and team engagement while meeting operational and budgetary targets

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee workshop operations, ensuring compliance with ISO standards and safety protocols.
  • Manage budgets, operating costs, and repair & maintenance KPIs.
  • Develop and implement SOPs and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Lead a team of shift managers and technical staff; ensure training and succession planning.
  • Coordinate third-party repairs and maintain strong supplier relationships.
  • Monitor fleet performance, utilization, and downtime; recommend refurbishments or replacements.
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Engineering (MBA preferred).
  • 8–10 years in fleet maintenance or similar environment.
  • 5–7 years in management roles; Middle East experience preferred.
  • Tractor unit/trailer
  • Knowledge of Trailer Refrigeration Systems (ThermoKing/Carrier).
  • Strong Diesel Mechanical knowledge as time served mechanic.
  • In-depth understanding of Electical and Mechanical Heavy Goods Vehicle technical systems.
  • Familiarity with SAP and MS Office.
  • Strong leadership, decision-making, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multicultural teams under high-pressure conditions.
  • Excellent English communication and literacy skills.
