Job description

Job Purpose

To develop, review, and supervise architectural design (2D & 3D) and construction activities for gas station and service center projects.

The role requires strong technical knowledge of design standards, local authority regulations, and project execution practices to ensure all designs meet operational and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Architectural Design & Control:

• Develop conceptual and detailed architectural designs for fuel and gas station projects.
• Ensure compliance with relevant municipal and regulatory requirements.
• Review architectural drawings to confirm compliance with the Saudi Building Code and international standards.
• Coordinate with civil, electrical, and mechanical teams to ensure design integration.

Documentation & Costing:

• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs), project cost estimates, and technical specifications.
• Maintain and organize design documentation, progress reports, and design revisions.
• Prepare and submit designs for authority approvals and coordinate responses.

Construction Supervision:

• Supervise on-site construction works to verify compliance with approved drawings and materials.
• Ensure construction quality and design accuracy according to approved standards.

Project Support & Management:

• Support in tender preparation, contractor evaluation, and design clarifications.
• Participate in design review meetings and provide technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
• May also be assigned project management responsibilities, depending on project needs.

Qualifications

Education & Certification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering from a recognized university.
• Master’s degree is a plus.
• PMP certification preferred.

Experience:

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in architectural design, preferably in gas station projects.
• Familiarity with Saudi Building Code and related design regulations.

Required Skills

• Proficient in AutoCAD (2D) and Revit / 3ds Max (3D).
• Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation and cost estimation.
• Understanding of safety design and regulatory standards.
