Job summary

Jeddah Prep and Grammar School is seeking an energetic Arabic Teacher to deliver engaging lessons across year groups. You will plan lessons, assign homework, grade tests and document progress to support pupil attainment.

You will work within a high-quality learning environment, follow the differentiated curriculum, monitor progress and contribute to the Year Group, House activities and school policies.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of teaching experience in a school setting.
• Bachelor's degree in Education or equivalent teaching qualification.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality learning environments within the classroom.
• Deliver the curriculum effectively and differentiate instruction for all year groups.
• Assess and monitor pupil progress and report on attainment and development.
• Be accountable for pupil progress in the subject areas taught.
• Support emotional and social development of pupils and contribute to Year Group planning.
• Attend timetable commitments and participate in House activities.

Arabic Teacher is responsible for lesson plans and educating pupils at all levels Their duties include assigning homework grading tests and documenting progress Teachers must be able to reach students with engaging lesson plans

Main Responsibilities

• To provide a high-quality learning environment within the classroom for the curriculum taught
• To follow the relevant and differentiated curriculum for pupils studying in the Year Group in accordance with the aims of the department and school and the curricular policies determined by the Governing Body and Head Teacher
• To contribute to the raising of standards of pupil attainment and achievement within the subject areas and to monitor and support pupil progress within the classroom
• To be accountable for pupil progress in subject areas taught
• To be accountable for pupils emotional and social development
• To contribute towards the development of the Year Group
• To undertake an appropriate timetable commitment
• To be part of the House system and participate in its events and activities

Skills and Qualifications
