In this role, you will support customers optimizing their conveyance systems based on calculations, lay‑out, conveyor design and belt selection for projects in the Food and Consumer Packaged Goods markets.

You will be part of the Application Engineering team and work closely with Account Managers in the MEA region (mainly Egypt, Saudi Arabia and the UAE), the Technical Support Group and Customer Service department in the Netherlands to ensure that our customers can make informed decisions on how to optimize conveyance in their plants.

What will you do?
  • Provide technical consultation to customers through risk evaluations and design reviews related to expansion (new lines) and retrofit projects
  • Conduct plant audits and lead maintenance training
  • Remote and on‑site troubleshooting and correction of problem installations or applications
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers
  • Collaborate and align with peers in the technical departments and the commercial team to ensure we are aligned in our service offerings and recommendations – one voice
Who are you?
  • B.Sc . in Engineering (Mechanical or Industrial preferred)
  • Passionate about mechanical engineering and technical customer support
  • Desire to travel to customer locations across the MEA region, approximately 50%; mostly predictable and scheduled
  • Proficient in using CAD software (AutoCAD, Solidworks) and Microsoft Suite
  • Excellent problem solving and communication skills
  • Service minded; self‑managed mentality with a sense of ownership
  • Professional level of Arabic with advanced communication skills in English. Additional language skills are advantageous
