Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a thought leader in developing strategic middleware designs, frameworks, and standards.
• Translate complex business requirements into scalable, reliable, and secure technical solutions.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, and stakeholders to deliver both tactical and strategic middleware initiatives.
• Identify and promote adoption of emerging technologies such as automation, DevOps, Cloud, blockchain, and IoT.
• Oversee installation, configuration, upgrades, testing, and debugging of middleware technologies across Linux and Windows platforms.
• Work with and enhance complex, highly integrated enterprise applications.
• Architect and design production and non-production middleware environments.
• Ensure middleware solutions meet performance, scalability, and availability requirements.

Skills

• Proven expertise in Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) and middleware architecture.
• Strong hands-on experience with technologies such as IBM Integration Bus (IIB), Software AG, WebSphere DataPower, Sterling Integrator, Tibco, and MuleSoft.
• Proficiency in working with Linux and Windows environments for middleware deployment.
• In-depth knowledge of API management, SOA, microservices, and messaging architectures.
• Experience with Cloud integration platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with automation, DevOps pipelines, and CI/CD practices.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and performance tuning skills.
• Ability to evaluate and implement emerging technologies in enterprise environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
