Batterjee Medical College is seeking a dynamic and relationship-driven Alumni Specialist & Career Consultant to strengthen alumni engagement, support student career development, and enhance graduate employability. This role plays a key part in building strong industry connections, supporting career readiness, and maintaining long-term relationships with BMC graduates.
Key Responsibilities
Alumni Relations & Engagement
- Develop and maintain an up-to-date alumni database and communication channels.
- Plan and coordinate alumni events, reunions, networking activities, and guest lectures.
- Serve as the main point of contact for alumni relations and inquiries.
- Collaborate with Marketing & Communications to promote alumni success stories.
Career Development & Employability
- Provide career guidance, counseling, and career planning support to students and graduates.
- Organize CV writing workshops, interview preparation sessions, and job‑search skills training.
- Coordinate career days, employer presentations, and recruitment events.
- Follow up on graduate employment outcomes and support job transitions.
Employer & Industry Relations
- Build and maintain partnerships with employers, healthcare organizations, and industry partners.
- Coordinate graduate recruitment opportunities with employer HR teams.
- Share graduate profiles with employers in compliance with data privacy policies.
Graduate Services & Records
- Coordinate the release of degree certificates, transcripts, and good conduct certificates.
- Issue certified copies of academic documents as required.
- Support graduation and withdrawal processes with proper documentation handling.
Reporting & Institutional Support
- Prepare reports on alumni engagement, employment outcomes, and career activities.
- Collaborate with Academic Affairs, Quality, HR, and other units on graduate‑related initiatives.
- Participate in committees and institutional events as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business Administration, HR, Communications, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in student affairs, alumni relations, career services, or employability support.
- Experience in higher education or healthcare environment is an advantage.
- Strong communication, counseling, and relationship‑building skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and database systems.
- Fluency in Arabic & English.
