The Air Quality Specialist will be responsible for analyzing data /reading received from analyzers, conduct research on air pollutant emissions and the types of pollutants in different areas, prepare technical monthly /annual reports, documents, and presentations on air quality and Ensure compliance with air quality regulations and standards.
Key Accountabilities
- Analyze and interpret data from air quality monitoring and observation
- Conduct research on air pollutant emissions and the types of pollutants in different areas
- Develop air quality management plans and policies
- Prepare technical reports, documents, and presentations on air quality
- Ensure compliance with air quality regulations and standards
- Cooperate with environmental scientists, planners, hazardous waste technicians, engineers, and other specialists
- Evaluate the effectiveness of air quality management plans and make necessary revisions
- Advise government officials, businesses, or other groups on air quality issues, including regulatory compliance
- Recommend solutions to reduce air pollution, such as changes in technology, processes, or materials
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of air monitoring equipment
- Collect and analyze air samples for quality control
- Prepare air quality reports based on findings
- Ensure compliance with local, state and federal air quality standards
- Provide recommendations for improving air quality
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams for air quality control strategies
- Conduct air quality training for staff members
