Job Title: Aftermarket Sales Engineer- Centrifugal Pump

Experience: Minimum 6 years

Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Aftermarket Sales Engineer to manage and grow the aftermarket business for centrifugal pumps across Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting spare parts, service contracts, retrofits, and repair services. The role requires strong client engagement, technical understanding of pumps, and the ability to support the customer throughout the equipment lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and develop aftermarket sales opportunities for centrifugal pumps across assigned territories.
  • Promote and sell spare parts, repair services, site support, performance upgrades, and long‑term service agreements (LTSA).
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and develop new accounts in oil & gas, petrochemical, power, and water sectors.
  • Conduct site surveys and troubleshoot pump performance issues.
  • Work closely with service centers, OEMs, and supply chain to ensure timely service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare and submit technically and commercially competitive proposals.
  • Collaborate with the internal service & engineering teams to develop customized solutions.
  • Track market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
  • Prepare regular sales forecasts, activity reports, and pipeline updates.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and ethical practices.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • 6–8 years of experience in sales or service of centrifugal pumps or rotating equipment.
  • Knowledge of pump internals, repair methodologies, and basic hydraulics.
  • Familiarity with major OEMs (e.g., Sulzer, Flowserve, KSB, Sundyne etc.) is an advantage.
  • Valid Driving License and willingness to travel extensively within the Kingdom.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in English; Arabic is a plus.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with SAP/CRM tools.
  • Existing client network in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Power & Water.
  • Exposure to API 610 standards and pump performance calculations.
