Job summary

Jobtailor in Riyadh is seeking an experienced AFC systems inspector to verify the performance of validators, gates, ticket vending machines, and backend interfaces. You will monitor contractor maintenance, ensure preventive and corrective actions, and coordinate with AFC, telecom and IT teams to resolve integration issues.

The role requires strong knowledge of smart ticketing and fare systems, with a focus on revenue integrity and system integration.

Qualifications

5+ years’ experience in AFC systems, ticketing technologies or transport ITS environments.
Strong understanding of smart ticketing, fare systems and associated communication networks.
Experience in inspections, audits or maintenance monitoring roles.
Familiarity with asset management and reporting systems (e.g., Maximo) preferred.

Responsibilities

Conduct inspections of AFC systems including validators, gates, ticket vending machines and backend interfaces to verify operational performance and availability.
Monitor contractor maintenance activities and ensure adherence to preventive and corrective maintenance standards.
Verify accuracy of fare collection systems and identify faults impacting revenue integrity and passenger experience.
Record defects, non-conformances and ensure timely corrective actions are implemented by Contractor.
Coordinate with AFC, telecom and IT teams to resolve system and integration-related issues.
