A leading logistics company in Dammam is seeking a skilled Accounting Manager to oversee financial operations. You will manage reporting, budgeting, and compliance while developing a high-performing team. Candidates should have a degree in finance or accounting, and 8-12 years of experience, including leadership within the logistics sector. Familiarity with Oracle Fusion and CargoWise is preferred.
Oversee accounting operations and financial reporting for Bahri Logistics, ensuring integrity and compliance of financial data. Manage and develop the accounting team to deliver accurate reports, enable informed decision-making, and maintain adherence to Bahri’s financial policies and governance standards.
Ensure effective cascading of the functional strategy into department business plans for vertical alignment and horizontal integration with other interfacing departments/units. Manage the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement and sustainability of systems, processes, and practices, considering leading standards, productivity improvement, and cost reduction.
Monitor the performance of accounting operations by ensuring timely and accurate reporting, reconciliation, and closing activities. Review and validate reports to meet Bahri’s financial and audit standards.
Lead and develop the accounting team through performance management, coaching, and motivation to achieve departmental goals. Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous learning.
Lead the preparation and consolidation of annual budgets and forecasts for the logistics business. Monitor budget performance, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions to achieve financial targets.
Ensure effective implementation of accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard assets and maintain compliance with statutory and company requirements. Support audit readiness and compliance with IFRS standards.
