Job summary

Opus in Jeddah is seeking an experienced accounting professional to manage daily financial transactions, record entries, and ensure accurate documentation of invoices, expenses, and revenues across the accounting system.

The role covers bank reconciliations, cash flow monitoring, preparing monthly and yearly statements (P&L, balance sheet), tax and zakat compliance, accounts and inventory follow-up, and safeguarding confidentiality of all financial records.

Responsibilities

• Record accounting entries, invoices, expenses, and revenues in the accounting systems.
• Carry out bank reconciliations, monitor advances, and match ledger balances with the general ledger.
• Prepare monthly and yearly reports, trial balances, and final statements such as profit and loss and balance sheets.
• Prepare and submit tax and zakat returns and track their payments according to the regulations of the Zakat, Tax, and Customs Authority.
• Monitor supplier and customer accounts, and participate in periodic and continuous inventory and treasury counts.
• Organize and securely keep financial documents and tax files, maintaining complete confidentiality of company data.
