Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Handle all Finance and Accounts related jobs at local country level.
  • Maintain Trial Balance and prepare the Financial Statements using the ERP system.
  • Prepare quarterly and yearly tax submissions as per KSA tax laws.
  • Support the external audit process.
  • Apply financial policies and procedures and report inconsistencies.

Role purpose

The position is required for working on all Finance and Accounts related jobs in the function at local country level.

Key accountabilities
  • Bookkeeping/Trial Balance/ FS Preparation
  • GST/VAT
  • Collection/ Receipt Reconciliation
  • Audit
  • Compliance
Bookkeeping/Trial Balance/ FS Preparation
  • Passing the GL entries and maintain a Trial Balance and prepare the FS using ERP system in order to prepare the audit file.
GST/VAT
  • Awareness of Tax law in KSA in order to prepare the quarterly and yearly submissions.
  • Prepare tax schedules and apply basic knowledge of tax rules to assist in preparation of tax reports and returns
Collection/ Receipt Reconciliation
  • Use judgment and professional accuracy skills in determining appropriate procedures for preparation of accounting records, research of transactions and reporting
  • Reconcile the daily collection receipts
  • Compile and prepare entries to General Ledger accounts
Audit
  • External Audit preparation, discussion, support to finance manager/ Auditor
Compliance
  • Apply the financial policies and procedures of the company. Bring inconsistencies and problems to the attention of management
  • Perform additional projects as assigned
Required Experience
  • Educated to Accounting degree or equivalent AUC or “English Section”
  • ERP, Financial application Experience is a must.
  • Excellent Excell Skill is a must
  • Experience in accounting practices and principles
  • Usually a minimum of 5 years’ experience in book keeping and preparation of financial statement, financial reporting, financial data analysis, auditing and taxation.
