About the Role

At OMQ, the Event Account Manager plays a vital role in leading the end-to-end planning and execution of high-profile events. Acting as the main bridge between clients and internal teams, this role ensures that each event reflects OMQ’s standards of creativity, precision, and excellence. The Event Account Manager transforms client objectives into actionable project plans and oversees every stage — from concept development to final delivery — ensuring timelines, budgets, and expectations are met with exceptional quality.

Responsibilities
  1. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and ensure effective communication across all project stages.
  2. Translate client requirements into clear briefs, event concepts, and detailed action plans.
  3. Prepare proposals, budgets, and schedules aligned with project scope and company standards.
  4. Coordinate with creative, production, logistics, and technical teams to guarantee seamless project execution.
  5. Monitor progress, identify potential challenges, and implement proactive solutions to maintain smooth delivery.
  6. Ensure events are delivered on time, within budget, and meet or exceed client expectations.
  7. Maintain and enhance long-term client relationships by consistently providing professional and high-quality service.
  8. Stay informed about emerging event trends, technologies, and best practices to support innovation and elevate OMQ’s offerings.
  9. Contribute to pitch presentations, internal meetings, and client debriefs to improve processes and client satisfaction.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Event Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in event or project management within the events, exhibitions, or hospitality industry.
  • Strong skills in budgeting, scheduling, and resource coordination.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Excellent client relationship management and communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt quickly to changing conditions.
  • Familiarity with event technology platforms and a passion for delivering creative, world-class experiences.
  • Language: Fluency in Arabic with very good English proficiency.
