Job Title: Academic Vice Dean

SHORT DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a strategic and experienced Academic Vice Dean to lead our academic programs and initiatives at IMCMedical College in Jeddah - Saudi Arabia.

JOB SUMMARY

In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for fostering an inclusive and innovative learning environment, driving academic excellence, and ensuring that our educational offerings align with industry standards and student needs.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and implement academic strategies that promote student success and institutional effectiveness
  • Oversee curriculum development, assessment processes, and faculty performance to ensure academic integrity and quality
  • Lead accreditation efforts and ensure compliance with relevant educational standards and regulations
  • Foster collaboration among academic departments to enhance interdisciplinary programs and initiatives
  • Engage with faculty, staff, and students to cultivate a vibrant academic community and address emerging educational needs
  • Manage budgets and resources effectively to align with institutional goals and priorities
  • Represent the academic division in institutional planning and decision-making processes
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Doctoral degree (PhD, EdD, MD, or equivalent) in a health-related or education discipline.
Professional Experience
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of academic leadership experience in health sciences education.
  • Demonstrated experience in curriculum development, assessment, accreditation, and faculty affairs.
  • Strong understanding of Whole Health, integrative care, or holistic education models.
Language
  • Bilingual proficiency (Arabic and English).
