Duties & Responsibilities

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bcom Accounting or equivalent degree
• SAIPA articles
• 2+ years post articles experience
• Experience as a Bookkeeper to trial balance
• Excellent communication and reporting skills
• Good problem-solving skills
• Reliable and dependable
• Attention to accuracy and detail
• Analytical and logical
• Ethical and trustworthy
• Excellent MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) skills
• Fully conversant with IFRS and IFRS for SMEs
• Able to work under pressure and to deadlines

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide accounting services and perform capturing tasks up to trial balance for all owned companies.
• Manage financial records, reconcile accounts, and ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Assist with financial reporting and analysis, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
• Manage Intercompany Transfers.
• Assist with Asset accounting and Stock Control.
• Monitor any variances from projected budget.
• Maintain accounts receivable and accounts payable records, manage invoicing and payments, and reconcile financial transactions.
• Manage documentation and records, ensuring proper organisation, storage, and retrieval of information.
• Monitor statutory timelines and submissions, ensuring compliance with tax, regulatory, and reporting requirements.
• Prepare and file necessary documents and reports with relevant authorities.
• General administration duties related to managing the finance sector.
• Assisting with year-end preparation for audit schedules.
