Senior Project Engineer

We are currently seeking a Senior Project Engineer , based at our headquarters in Cornellà de Llobregat (Barcelona) or Tarragona.

As a Senior Project Engineer, you will :

• Lead engineering activities on capital projects and proposals involving significant complexity (sale of gas / sale of equipment).
• Plan and oversee all engineers and designers working on the projects to ensure efficient completion.
• Evaluate and approve changes that substantially impact scope, budget, or schedule.
• Monitor project progress and performance against schedules.
• Contribute to strategic decisions affecting your area of responsibility.
• Develop strategic directions for project budgets.
• Resolve and escalate operational and resource issues.
• Supervise junior project engineers across different projects in the SE region.

Requirements :

• 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience in industrial gases is preferred.
• Strong commitment to health, safety, and quality.
• Willingness to dedicate time and effort to achieve project goals.
• Excellent communication skills in Spanish and English; additional languages are a plus.
• Ability to influence and negotiate at all organizational levels and with external clients.
• Experience working with multidisciplinary teams across cultures.
• Solid understanding of mechanical, process engineering, E&I, and control systems.
• Flexibility to travel within Spain and Portugal, and occasionally to other regions.
• Experience in process plant construction or commissioning is advantageous.
