At ING, we are looking for a VP Transaction Services Sales Trade Consultant Iberia.
Your role and work environment :
We seek a talented and enthusiastic professional to join our Transaction Services (TS) Team within Wholesale Banking Spain & Portugal. The team collaborates with large corporates to offer TS solutions such as Working Capital Solutions (WCS), Trade Financial Services (TFS), and Payments and Cash Management (PCM).
Your key responsibilities :
As a Transaction Services Sales Consultant Iberia (specializing in Working Capital Solutions), you will drive growth in the Daily Banking business and enhance profitability by originating new TS mandates within the Wholesale Banking client portfolio in Spain and Portugal. You will sell the full suite of TS Trade solutions across the network, focusing on WCS products like Receivables Finance and Supply Chain Finance (SCF).
Key responsibilities include:
- Generating new TS share-of-wallet deals with existing and new clients, especially in WCS products.
- Achieving revenue targets and client profitability within ING's risk framework.
- Collaborating with the local head of Transaction Services to define business strategies and commercial plans for SCF and Receivables Finance.
- Managing and advising on complex transactions from pre-lead to proposal, supporting structuring and execution in coordination with central teams.
- Negotiating solutions and pricing with clients, balancing expectations, costs, and risk appetite.
- Enhancing customer relationships and maximizing cross-selling of TS solutions.
- Monitoring and managing the existing portfolio in consultation with risk management, adhering to KYC guidelines.
- Contributing to the development of new solutions and maintaining industry knowledge, especially on Trade products.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Accounting, or Finance.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience and technical knowledge of SCF and Receivables Finance products.
- Knowledge of Trade Finance products and Inventory financing is a plus.
- Ambitious, client-focused, results-oriented, adaptable, and a team player.
- Strong communication, organizational skills, and stakeholder management.
- High ethical standards and professionalism.
- Willingness to learn continuously in a dynamic environment.
- Fluent in English and Spanish.
