Python Fullstack Tech Lead

Location: France (French Speaking), Spain (Hybrid), or fully remote

Contract Type: Permanent or Freelance

Mandatory Languages: French (C1+) and English (B2 minimum)

Position Overview:

Join a strategic initiative at the crossroads of gamification, mobility, and digital transformation! You'll play a central, structuring role in a nearshore setup, connecting three major players in France's innovation ecosystem.

Required Skills:

• 7 to 10 years of experience in software development
• Expertise in Python, Django, and React
• Proven experience in technical leadership and team management
• Strong understanding of software architecture, testing, and performance optimization
• Experience in SaaS, mobility, or automotive projects is a plus
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
• Comfortable working in an international, multi-stakeholder environment
• Fluent in French (spoken and written) – must-have
• Available for occasional travel to France – must-have
• Currently residing in Portugal with permission to work in Portugal – must-have
• Bonus: DevOps/cloud experience (e.g., AWS, Docker, Kubernetes)

Your Mission:

As the Tech Lead, you will:

• Serve as the technical backbone of the Portuguese team setup
• Coordinate and mentor a team of developers
• Ensure seamless communication with French-speaking stakeholders
• Lead the architecture, design, and development of backend systems with a focus on Python
• Align development efforts with agile practices and project goals
• Act as a bridge between business and tech, ensuring clarity, quality, and velocity
