AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We support all AWS data centers, including servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment, ensuring continual access for our customers. You will join a diverse team of engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. Collaboration across AWS helps us maintain high safety and security standards while providing extensive capacity at low cost. We are looking for Data Center Technicians to join our Infrastructure Operations team. These technicians troubleshoot and resolve issues related to hardware, fiber, networking, and related infrastructure. You will oversee the operation and maintenance of IT infrastructure in AWS data centers, becoming the primary resolver for your support team and developing troubleshooting skills across hardware and software cases.

Key responsibilities include :

• Safety : Maintain the highest safety standards, promote a safety culture, and own safety initiatives.
• Data Center Operations : Diagnose hardware and network issues, perform repairs, troubleshoot within SLAs, and analyze equipment failures.
• Manual handling and lifting of equipment, in accordance with safety regulations.
• Working rotating shifts (morning, late, night) and weekends to ensure 24 / 7 data center operation.
• On-call response to emergency calls as needed.

Qualifications :

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience with hardware troubleshooting and repair
• Networking experience
