Primary job function :

This position involves developing mixed firmware implementations over low power microcontrollers or SoCs, and HDL implementations over low power FPGAs. Responsibilities include designing, developing, and testing medical wearable products in collaboration with the team. Additional skills in other areas of product development are a plus.

Education :

Degree in Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications, Industrial, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.

Experience / skills required :

• At least 2 years of HDL coding for embedded FPGA design (Verilog preferred).
• Strong knowledge of C language for embedded applications.
• Experience with ARM microcontrollers.
• Experience with SoC.

Other recommended skills :

• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Batch, PowerShell, etc. is a plus.
• Experience using laboratory instrumentation; programming instrumentation is valued but not mandatory.
• Proficiency in English at B2 or C1 level; reading and writing documentation is essential.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work online with the team.
• Proactive, methodical, and organized approach.

Responsibilities include :

• Reading and understanding technical documentation.
• Analyzing SoC and FPGA benchmarks.
• Analyzing FPGA timing constraints.
• Writing, optimizing, and testing C and HDL code.
• Optimizing power consumption.
• Evaluating Digital Signal Processing.
