Managing Director - QLM Search - Delivering global executive talent solutions

QLM Search is partnering with a Branded Beverage Group that is looking to expand its footprint across the retail channel in France, Spain, Netherlands, and Belgium.

To lead this growth, they have created a Key Account Manager role. This is a hands-on role with full accountability to deliver this growth, from 0-10m Euro.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead the commercial strategy within the assigned cluster of countries aiming to build the brand and a long-term growth strategy.
  • Create and develop strong relationships with key retail customers, aiming to gain listing, share of shelf, and brand visibility within top grocery Key Accounts.
  • Collaborate with local distributors to execute the strategy, maximize portfolio distribution, and enhance in-store visibility.
  • Manage the local promotional strategy and the customer P&L, delivering against sales, margin, and profit targets.
  • Coordinate with US stakeholders to ensure the business meets their needs and drives customer satisfaction.
  • Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitor activities to create new business opportunities and develop strategies to maximize sales potential.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal departments including marketing, operations, finance, human resources, and supply chain for alignment and collaboration.
  • Work with the marketing team to develop effective sales promotions, marketing campaigns, and product launches.

Qualifications :

  • Proven experience as a Head of Sales within a challenger branded beverage manufacturer.
  • Track record of delivering growth in an entrepreneurial environment.
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills to create and maintain effective partnerships with key retailers, distributors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of the S&OP cycle and ability to collaborate with Supply Chain, F&A, IT to build an effective sales process and ensure top customer service levels.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to analyze market trends and customer insights for new business opportunities.
