You'll direct the creation of value through supply chain applications by implementing quality, performance, and value-driven governance. This role aligns the supply chain platform functions across the business to promote and facilitate optimisation, stability, security, and efficiency. Prior exposure to the Blue Yonder and JDA product suite is essential, as these elements are used within this area.

Responsibilities :

  • Manage Brambles' supply chain technologies and teams, staying informed about external market innovations in the function.
  • Oversee daily platform services, including development, data governance, support, and strategic direction across the Brambles landscape.
  • Evaluate and monitor all supply chain services, ensuring they create business benefits through resilient, responsive, and stable platform usage for a growing global user base.
  • Collaborate with the wider TS organization, particularly the Supply Chain Programme, on demand and delivery performance metrics.
  • Maintain and facilitate governance methods, standards, and principles across all supply chain platform processes and capabilities.
  • Develop, adopt, and embed governance practices across all business units integrating supply chain data with other systems and personnel.
  • Lead the development of supply chain service management, vendor management, risk management, platform upgrades, and reporting processes.
  • Set clear objectives and priorities, communicating strategies and roadmaps to relevant supply chain audiences.
  • Partner with business leadership to shape strategy, identify opportunities, and develop solutions that enhance financial effectiveness and simplify supply chain services.
  • Promote a culture of service excellence and develop best practices within Technology Services, Data & Digital, Supply Chain, and the wider organization.
  • Define and monitor performance metrics to support operational objectives of existing and new supply chain platforms.
  • Provide technical coaching and influence global technology adoption.
  • Manage vendor / partner relationships, ensuring performance through metrics and action plans.
  • Act as the escalation point for incidents across platforms and lead process improvements post-incident.
  • Lead talent management efforts, including recruiting, developing, motivating, and retaining team members.
  • Develop and implement risk frameworks and ensure delivery of initiatives on time, within budget, and to success criteria.
  • Manage or influence technical staff, transformation projects, and business change initiatives.
  • Design, strategize, and deliver supply chain solutions, including platform migrations and cloud-native implementations (AWS, Azure).
  • Lead remote, cross-functional teams across multiple continents and manage relationships at senior levels.
  • Oversee application financial management, business case development, and budget planning.
  • Establish strategic, operational, and technical decision-making processes aligned with organizational priorities and risk appetite.
  • Serve as the primary contact for all governance elements related to supply chain platforms.
  • Develop and execute risk and controls frameworks in collaboration with internal audit.
  • Manage platform sourcing, vendor management, upgrades, SLAs, and service delivery, including risk mitigation and opportunity identification.
  • Ensure operational estate governance, change control, security, and service management processes are followed.
  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
