Senior Scientist R&D (m / f / d)

Responsibilities :

• Design, development and verification of methods for the detection of mycotoxins in food and feedstuff, using immuno-assays in ELISA and Lateral Flow Immunoassay.
• Support existing products by maintaining and improving manufacturing robustness and performance.
• Evaluate alternative, potentially disruptive and / or competitive methods for mycotoxin detection.
• Ensure compliance with and / or follow all organizational systems, programs, training, policies, and procedures as required and comply with relevant legal mandates. Seek guidance as necessary.

Profile :

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a Microbiology / Biochemistry discipline or a related scientific field
• Minimum of 7 years of lab experience
• Experience with immunoassay and other detection methods for microbes and their toxins
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat required.
• Working knowledge of statistical methodologies
• Good understanding of technologies related to new product development
• Basic understanding of our customers and market
• Working knowledge of Design Control
