Job Purpose

Analyze, update, and control daily and cyclical performance data for aircraft operations within the Flight Operations Department, ensuring adherence to international aviation regulations and company standards for safe, efficient, and cost-effective flights.

Main Responsibilities

• Download, process, and analyze airport database updates, categorizing differences related to distances, elevations, obstacles, and procedures.
• Identify and evaluate NOTAMs affecting airport operations and assess their impact on performance parameters.
• Collaborate with navigation engineering to review airport cartography changes every 28 days.
• Verify changes in the GPWS database relevant to operations.
• Collect and analyze engine performance degradation data for monthly performance assessments.
• Assist in drafting and updating technical manuals and procedures in English and Spanish.
• Develop scripts using Python or Visual Basic to automate data processing tasks.
• Coordinate with Safety and Compliance teams for critical performance data analysis.
• Stay updated on aviation regulation changes impacting flight performance calculations.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Aeronautical Engineering.

Experience

• Knowledge of aircraft performance calculation and influencing factors.
• Familiarity with aviation safety and operational regulations.
• Experience handling large datasets, with proficiency in Python and Visual Basic preferred.
