Senior Mechanical Design Engineer - Relocate to Waterford (Ireland)

To join one of our clients in Waterford (Ireland). This company specializes in engineering design, focusing on developing and manufacturing custom machinery for the medical device and pharmaceutical industries. Their main expertise lies in creating innovative, tailor-made equipment to meet the specific needs of these sectors.

Tasks :

1. Overseeing projects from initial concept to final installation
2. Preparing technical proposals and cost estimates for clients
3. Developing mechanical designs and detailed drawings using SolidWorks
4. Collaborating with electrical and control engineers on machine design
5. Designing HMI screens and flow diagrams for machine operation
6. Conducting risk assessments to ensure CE compliance
7. Preparing documentation in accordance with GAMP standards
8. Applying engineering principles to design mechanical systems and products
9. Planning, conceptualizing, and developing new mechanical designs
10. Establishing testing procedures and validating new designs
11. Producing prototypes for testing and client demonstrations
12. Creating and reviewing technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
13. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, suppliers, and contractors

Requirements :

• +5 years of experience
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Experience using CAD software :

• SolidWorks, AutoCAD

Project management, Mathematical skills
