Data Project Manager – Barcelona – Permanent or Freelance Contract

For one of our top clients in Barcelona, we are looking for aData Project Managerto join a long-term project related to an ambitious business transformation program. The goal is to consolidate multiple ERP systems into a single SAP HANA platform, with data at the core. The project is currently transitioning from the design phase to the build phase, with pilots already underway.

Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain the project plan in MS Planner.
• Manage the backlog in JIRA, ensuring proper ticket definition and follow-up.
• Automate reports and develop dashboards in Power BI to track KPIs and project status.
• Structure and maintain documentation in SharePoint, adhering to established quality standards.
• Create and update content in Confluence.
• Coordinate with data teams on topics related to quality, migration, and risk management.
  
  

Required Skills:

• 3 to 4 years of experience in data project management or similar roles such as Data Coordinator.
• Knowledge in: Data Quality, Data Migration, Data Risk, and Data Governance.
• Proficiency with tools such as: Power BI, MS Planner, JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint, MS Office, Teams.
• Fluent English, both spoken and written.
  
  

Desired Skills:

• Experience in SAP HANA migration projects.
• Knowledge in Data Management.
• Dynamic profile with initiative, communication skills, and the ability to adapt to changing and multitasking environments.
