Role Overview As we continue to evolve our global data platform We are seeking a highly capable and structured Senior Project Manager to join our Head Office and lead a portfolio of complex, interconnected data initiatives at the group level. This role is responsible for delivering projects across data platform architecture, data governance frameworks, and enterprise data management processes. The Senior PM will coordinate with regional project managers, cross-functional teams, and executive stakeholders to ensure timely, consistent, and business-aligned execution.
Strategic Project Leadership Lead the Program Management for the global data platform and the planning, execution, and delivery of data-related projects initiated by Head Office Ensure alignment with group data strategy and CIO office priorities Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders including Data, Technology, Risk, Compliance, Legal, and Business teams Work closely with executive management, preparing and delivering regular dashboards, status reports, and decision papers
Delivery Assurance Develop and maintain detailed project plans, define interdependencies Implement structured milestone tracking and reporting mechanisms for senior management Drive standardization and quality across projects while respecting local operational specificities Ensure appropriate risk management and escalation procedures Establish metrics and tracking mechanisms for platform benefits realization
Stakeholder Engagement Establish and maintain governance forums and working groups, and contribute to steering committee materials Facilitate collaboration between the holding company and subsidiaries Lead engagement with regional entities and ensure appropriate representation in governance Build effective relationships with C-level executives across the organization
Essential Experience and Skills Minimum 10 years of project / program management with at least 3 years in Senior Leadership role Demonstrated success in data-centric projects Experience working within matrix and / or decentralized organizational structures Strong organizational and executive communication skills — both verbal and written — with a track record of influencing senior stakeholders Proven ability to develop and present executive dashboards and reporting packs Familiarity with data governance and cataloging tools (e.g., Collibra, Alation), and cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Azure, Databricks) Strong interpersonal skills, cultural awareness, and ability to work across geographies and time zones
Desirable Experience Experience within financial services, ideally in brokerage, trading, or investment banking Experience with data lakes / platforms, governance frameworks, master data, metadata, data quality Understanding of regulatory requirements in financial services Background in managing cross-border, multi-cultural teams
Skills PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification required; Agile experience a plus Experience in both waterfall and agile delivery methodologies Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities Ability to translate between technical and business languages Fluent in English; fluency in French is a plus Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders without direct authority Political astuteness and diplomatic approach Comfort with ambiguity and complexity Results-oriented mindset with attention to detail
Education Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Technology, Finance, or a related discipline Training in program management methodologies
