In collaboration with the Retail Business Analyst team and the business users, support the Planning and Allocation department by providing clear analysis and promoting a data-driven approach for business decisions.

CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Accountable to the Retail Business Analyst Manager, work closely with the Retail Business Analyst team to identify information and analysis gaps to support data-driven business decisions.
  • Support the management and Retail Planning and Allocation department by identifying trends, gaps, and improvement areas using an analytical data-driven approach.
  • Provide clear KPIs, analysis, and insights to support a timely reaction to changing market trends.
  • Review and optimize existing reports and analyses in a logic of continuous improvement, adapting them to the new needs of an extremely dynamic industry.
  • Promote efficiency and automation thinking, implementing new ways and approaches to solve issues.
  • Contribute proactively and effectively to efficiency improvement through automation.
  • Collaborate proactively with the BI and MIS teams to find the best technical solutions to support business information needs and ensure data quality.
  • As part of the team managing markdown activities, play a key role in discount decisions and implementation, closely monitoring trends at the country / product level, providing analysis and simulations that reflect the impact on sales, margin, and stock, keeping them aligned with the discount budget.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2-3 years of experience in Business Analyst or similar roles.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Fluency in English (written and oral).
  • Ability to successfully mine data, create ad hoc reporting, and analyze to drive key business decisions.
  • Experience with business intelligence, reporting, and analytics tools (previous knowledge of Microstrategy, PowerBI is a plus).
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, including advanced Excel and VBA skills to facilitate data analysis and critical problem solving.
  • Knowledge of programming languages is a plus.
  • Fast learner with a strong analytical mindset, able to adapt to changes and work under pressure.
  • Proactive and result-oriented, thinks outside the box.
